Ersatzjagdpanzer IV 8.1cm auf Panzerabwehrwerfer (PAW) L/105 mit Infrarot-Scheinwerfer, or in English... German Experimental Tank Destroyer with 8.1cm L/105 length gun and Solution A&B Night-Fighting Infrared Scopes.
This is a complete scratch-built model, customized components include : 1) Slope ballistic hull and surface details, 2) Gun mantle and travel lock, 3) Infra-red scopes for driver and commander, 4) Schurzen armor skirt mounts, 5) late-war tube-fan rear mufflers.
Model depicts Jadgpanzer IV of German 25th Panzergrenadier Division in Operation Nordwind : counter-offensive against Allied sector in Alsace region of France, Jan 1945.
Offensive aimed at drawing Allied pressure off Ardennes front in Belgium-Luxembourg-Germany area, and attempted to split US/French armies at Strasbourg-France along the Rhein river valley. This was the last German offensive in Western Europe.
