Babylon-5 Earth Alliance Theseus-class destroyer Agathon, assigned to 2nd Division "Marauding Minotaurs".
In crash program to rapidly upgrade existing combat vessels to counter potential Thirdspace Alien invasion of Earth Alliance realm, the Bright Warrior Program Upgrades were initiated to ramp up weapons, shields, armor, sensors for ships powered by or capable of installing the gravitis drive system.
Leveraging after-action combat reports from previous Earth-Minbari War, Theseus-class destroyers were upgrades from Omega-class destroyers with new weapons - engines - shields, increased firepower enabled both ship-to-ship engagements and planetary bombardments.
First Theseus-class vessel named AGATHON, in line with Babylon-5 tradition of naming Earth Alliance capital ships with Greek mythological characters.
